If you ever happen to be in Blanding, in southern Utah, head west to highway 261. Then drive south to the Moki Dugway. The Dugway switchbacks down into the Valley of the Gods like its dropping off the edge of the earth. We spent the night at the foot of the hill in our van in the fall of 2023, then toured the Valley in the morning.
