After 10 days in Patagonia in March 2025 we flew 3800km north to Salta. With a rental car we explored the quebradas of Salta and Jujuy provinces - the altiplano near the border of Bolivia. This is high country. Salta is at 6500 ft above sea level. The salt flats of Salinas Grandes are 13,000 ft. Not a lot of people here.
